Users can also turn on and off daily life and gratitude idea prompts in the settings, create gratitude entries for past days, and use the calendar view to find old entries faster. The app also offers a choice between a dark or light theme.

Delightful also offers additional features that can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. These features include a privacy lock with Touch ID or Face ID, depending on the user's device, the ability to search entries by keyword, and a flashback Today Widget.
